Newest filing, and it is not a stock: the periodic transaction report signed Oct 2, 2026 carries one line — a spouse (SP) purchase of $500,001–$1,000,000 in REOF XXX, LLC, dated Sep 8, described in the filing as an investment in an LLC acquiring and managing a commercial office property at 225 Bush Street, San Francisco. The form codes it [AB], Asset-Backed Securities, which is why several trackers logged it as a stock trade — they read the code, not the description. It is not a stock, so it gets no row in the table below. Read the filing ↗

The Bloom Energy filing bought Jul 24–28 · you found out Aug 21

15,000 $BE shares plus 200 call options ($100 strike, Jun 2027) — $3M–$12M combined — alongside 10,000 $INTC shares + calls. The filing was signed Aug 21 and hit the public record days later — BE closed +6.6% on disclosure day (Aug 25), four weeks after the actual purchases. That gap is the whole game — see “The Lag” below. Disclosed ranges, not exact amounts. Not advice.

America's most copytraded portfolio
is retiring in — days.

Nancy Pelosi announced she won't seek reelection — her term, and with it the disclosure stream this entire copytrading industry runs on, ends January 3, 2027. Until then, every trade her household discloses lands here: translated from the actual filings, with the option strikes, the value ranges, and the honest catch most trackers skip. Trades are made by her husband Paul Pelosi, a venture capitalist — her office's standing line: "Speaker Pelosi does not own any stocks, and she has no prior knowledge or subsequent involvement in any transactions." The filings mark every stock trade "SP" — spouse. We show you what's disclosed; what it means is your call.

The Lag — why copying is harder than it looks

A 2012 law — the STOCK Act — forces members of Congress (and spouses) to disclose every trade publicly, which is why this data legally exists at all. But it gives them 45 days to do it, and the market moves when the filing drops, not when the trade happened. The Bloom Energy trade, as it actually unfolded:
Jul 24–28 Paul buys BE 🛒 trade happens MAIL the disclosure, taking its sweet legal time (45 days allowed) Aug 21 filing signed 📋 you're allowed to know Aug 25 BE closes +6.6% 📈 the "Pelosi pop"
By the time you can copy the trade, the stock has often already re-priced — the pop happens on disclosure day. Academic work (Belmont, Sacerdote et al.) finds copying congressional trades after the lag adds little. That's the honest catch. The headline return numbers are also estimates built from range midpoints — different trackers get different answers from the same filings (one says her 2024 was +54%, another +70.9%).

LEAPS, for humans

Paul Pelosi's signature move isn't buying stocks — it's buying deep-in-the-money call options a year+ out, then exercising them. Here's the move, minus the jargon:
A rocket with a seatbelt
A LEAPS call = the right to buy a stock at a set price, up to ~2 years out. Deep-in-the-money ones (strike far below today's price) move almost like the stock — but cost less upfront. Leverage, with a defined worst case.
Jan 2027
The January ritual
The pattern in the filings: exercise the expiring LEAPS into shares each January (this year: GOOGL, AMZN, NVDA, TEM, VST — 5,000 shares each), and buy the next batch expiring the following January. A rolling conveyor belt of leverage.
$1M ——— $5Mthe actual number is in here somewhere
Range goggles
Filings disclose ranges, never amounts. "Bought $1M–$5M of calls" is all anyone outside the household knows. Every precise-sounding Pelosi number you've seen online — including return percentages — is an estimate built on midpoints.
Fuel for the conveyor belt, from the annual disclosure: two brokerage margin accounts of $25M–$50M each. The LEAPS book runs on borrowed money — which cuts both ways, and is a big part of why "just copy her" doesn't replicate the result. Scale check: one deep-in-the-money contract like the BE $100 calls covers 100 shares — north of $10,000 at purchase-time prices — so a single contract can exceed a small account entirely. That's arithmetic, not advice.

Before you copy a single trade — read this

These are her husband's trades
Every stock row in the filings is marked SP — spouse. Paul Pelosi is a venture capitalist who was trading tech long before the trackers existed. Her office's standing statement: she owns no stocks and has no prior knowledge or involvement. The Warren-Garcia-style questions about congressional trading are real politics — but this page reports what's disclosed, not what anyone insinuates.
The lag eats the edge
45 days to disclose means you're always trading her past. The measurable "Pelosi pop" happens on filing day — after which the copyable version of her portfolio has underperformed the index (Quiver's mirror: +11.6% in the trailing year to Jan 2026 — below the S&P over the same stretch). Academic studies find copying Congress after the lag adds little.
The returns are estimates
Ranges make precision impossible: Unusual Whales says +70.9% for 2024, another aggregator says +54% — same filings. We publish the famous numbers with their methodology (midpoint-of-range estimates) because you'll see them everywhere anyway. Treat them as directionally interesting, not audited.
This all ends January 3, 2027
She's not seeking reelection. When the term ends, the disclosure stream ends — no more PTRs, ever. The House passed a trading-ban bill (H.R. 7008, 232–198, July 2026) — but a bill passed by one chamber is not law, and no ban is law as of August 2026. Meanwhile $650M+ of retail money tracks a portfolio whose disclosures are about to go dark. Plan accordingly.
